Health of Architecture
The Health of Architecture is an architectural experiment located in six GP surgeries in the Brighton area. This project begins with the simple principle that effective design in healthcare buildings can be achieved when a dialogue is fostered between patients, staff and architects.
The Health of Architecture was instigated and led by artist and Wellcome Trust Public Engagement Fellow: Alex Julyan, supported by Interior Architecture staff at Brighton University and architecture and healthcare professionals. The project was realised by ten final year Interior Architecture undergraduate students over a seven-month period.
